At the risk of stating the obvious, no woman can mate with a bull and produce a child. Recognizing this simple scientific fact, I am led to a somewhat interesting suspicion: King Minos did not build the labyrinth to imprison a monster but to conceal a deformed child - his child. While the Minotaur has often been depicted as a creature with the body of a bull but the torso of a man - centaur like - the myth describes the Minotaur as simply having the head of a bull and the body of a man.

I am incredibly incompetent at HTML. I was going to put that little button that says: 'HTML Incompetence Ahead' on my site, but I couldn't find it. Things may seem alright on the surface, but below all of that is a mess of code that could rival Toby Fox in spaghetti-ness. I really need to get more organized, which is why I've downloaded some layouts to study in my free time. Hopefully they will rub off on me and improve my Skills. I'm proud of the fenestrated wall, at least.

As you can probably tell from my Reading List, I like to read. I've recently started The Time Traveler's Wife, although I haven't exactly gotten very far. Hopefully I'll be done with a reviews page of some sort by the time I've finished reading it (i probably won't). The last time-travel book I've read was This Is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone. It's sitting on my metal desk shelf thing right underneath some Murakami book. Oops. That was a great novel though. I mean, who wouldn't want to read about time-traveling lesbians in space? It's kind of awesome or something.

I was debating on writing this entire spiel in lowercase to match the rest of the site, but... eh. Not super thrilled at the idea. I can keep the lowercase for my 'low effort' logs. Anyway, do you guys think that this black rectangle I'm writing on kind of looks like the monolith? Yeah. <-- (delusional)
